#GirlBoss – Who Inspires You?

In an effort to further support women in business and share their stories of success, failures and triumphs; I am excited to announce a new blog series called #GirlBoss.

This series is meant to educate and offer hope to those women bosses, entrepreneurs, business owners and badasses. The hardest thing to overcome are feelings of despair and loneliness, thinking you are the only one facing these challenges and hardships.

My hope, is that through this series, you will see women that have been there, picked themselves up and conquered or just moved forward and past it.

If you have a badass woman professional woman in your life, I want to hear from you. Send her bio, contact info and a quick 2 to 3 sentences on why she inspires you.

The moment you step into your Big Deal Energy™️, people will find a reason to hate you. They’ll disagree with you. They’ll leave shitty comments. They’ll try to make you feel small.

Let them.

Their mediocre is not yours to carry, their discomfort with your confidence is a them problem. You aren’t showing up to make everyone comfortable, you’re doing it because being authentically you means something.

And when the haters roll in? Smile; they just proved your point.

Being witness to history and seeing the @nasa Artemis II launch was pretty emotional. I’m old enough to remember the Challenger, and well…I prayed everything would go ok. Big thanks to @lockheedmartin for putting on the event and letting us all tag along.

I wrote the much-requested, much-anticipated sequel to The Gray Wave: Why Women Are Leaving.

Just a week ago, I headed up to the cabin for the first time in months. We’ve owned the cabin for almost 10 years. It’s remote. The driveway requires four-wheel-drive, and if it isn’t maintained, we can’t get to it. For as long as we’ve owned it, I’ve asked for snow plowing to be set up.
